Explaining support for the far-right

Yesterday, Dr Matt Goodwin gave evidence to the Home Affairs Committee on the Roots of Violent Radicalisation.

The invitation follows a series of research projects on why some citizens support far right extremists, and which were generously supported by grants from the Economic and Social Research Council, British Academy and Integrating Global Society funding stream at the University of Nottingham.

After the Committee, he elaborated on three of his core points in a piece for the Guardian’s Comment is Free.
